PANEURAMA NXT GEN LAB is teaming up with environmental organization Friends of the Earth Europe (FOEE) for a two-week Innovation Lab offering a unique opportunity to explore the fusion of animation, new technology, and environmental advocacy, paving the way for innovative solutions and impactful storytelling.

FOEE: Leading the charge for environmental justice

The environmental advocacy organization Friends of the Earth Europe is fighting for social equity in a sustainable world. As the largest grassroots environmental network in Europe, FOEE unites over 30 national organizations and thousands of local groups, working tirelessly to advocate for a just and sustainable future.

Their mission resonates deeply with our core values within PANEURAMA, as they campaign to get decision-makers in the EU, in governments across Europe, and in the private sector to work for a regenerative future where humanity thrives in harmony and balance with nature.

An Inspiring Partnership

For PANEURAMA the partnership with Friends of the Earth Europe is a significant step to ensure that our creative journey with students, graduates and young professionals from animation and visual engineering serves a higher purpose. Together the partners will enable the participants of NXT GEN LAB to join in on a mission to create campaign films that spark conversation and drive positive change.

What to expect: NXT GEN LAB

From August 19th to August 31st, participants will meet to pick up the challenge. Five teams will work at the professional facilities at Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands in a shared professional and productive experience.

Under the guidance of industry experts, supervisors and mentors, from industry across Europe, attendees will delve into the realms of animation, filmmaking, virtual production, and more, all with the goal of creating compelling short films that amplify FOEE’s message of environmental stewardship and sustainability.
