We’re excited to finally showcase the final production of the AAD Innovation Lab!
In the Summer of 2024, PANEURAMA brought together 19 top animation talents and young professionals from all over Europe for our Innovation Lab, ‘Animation! Acting!! Drama!!!’.
Led by the Head of Character Animation at Fortiche Production, Alexis Wanneroy, the program was designed to investigate and develop the next level of acting for animation, diving deep into human emotion, character, acting, drama and storytelling.
In close collaboration with Alexis, the participants of the innovation lab were tasked with producing a fully animated scene of 2 minutes, while developing upon existing and new animation principles to enhance the feeling of realistic acting in animated drama.
We’ll soon have more to show you from the innovation labs – this is just the beginning!
