Selected participants will have the exclusive opportunity to immerse themselves in a technologically robust environment.
Working collaboratively in production teams, they will be tasked with developing 15-30 seconds of digital content, incorporating Real-time engines, AI, or Virtual/Augmented Reality in their development.
The workshop will feature engaging masterclasses and continuous mentorship by industry professionals, culminating in a project pitching session before a jury of leading experts in the field.
The participants will have the opportunity to learn from instructors who bring real-world, production-tested expertise to the classroom, and expand their network by connecting with like-minded individuals and industry professionals.
Our mentors include representatives from Beyond Horizons, Creative Viborg, Co-Flow Visuals, KHORA VR, and more.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create: Build a game-changing product, story, or experience that tackles a real-world sustainability problem.
- Innovate: Use the latest technologies like AI, VR, and AR to bring your ideas to life.
- Pitch Like a Pro: Develop a slick pitch deck with a trailer, prototype, and strategy to wow industry leaders.

We evaluate our applicants based on their profile, talent, whether they fit into the overall team we can composite from the applicants, as well as their educational background. Additionally, we highly value motivation and dedication – the strive the learn and improve.
We will soon release the schedule for the NXT GEN Innovation Lab, running from August 4–15 in Viborg, Denmark. This two-week program will include interactive sessions with peers and mentors, as well as social activities to help you relax, connect, and have fun.

The NXT GEN Lab schedule is subject to change and further elaboration.
In the sign-up form you’ll be asked to provide the following:
- Contact information, so we can inform you of your application status
- The University you’re associated with
- Your background, experience, and motivation
- Your familiarity to different softwares , team roles, technologies the NXT GEN Lab will touch upon
- A portfolio/work/reel/other upload or share to illustrate your current experience and skills
The workshop is free of charge.
The PANEURAMA project will also cover selected participants’ travel and accommodation, so they can fully focus on the new learning experience.
The NXT GEN Lab will take place on the campus of The Animation Workshop/VIA University College, Viborg, Denmark.
